We help international organisations to develop creative and impactful advocacy campaigns. We are aiming to become the ‘go-to’ consultancy service for organisations aiming to influence international development policies and decisions and we want to make a positive contribution to global development, supporting organisations to become more effective, and encouraging strategies that promotes best practice in sustainable development

thE Real AID INDEX
We supported The ONE Campaign with the development of the Real Aid Index, the first index to assess the quality of aid spending by UK Government departments. In 2019, The Advocacy Team led the research and analysis for two government departments; supported the development of the indicators and the advocacy strategy. Now in its second year, the Real Aid Index is recognised by campaigners as a leading tool for scrutinising aid spending and helping campaigners to make the case for aid spending that is poverty-focused, effective and transparent.
LEGISLATION: qUEENS’speech 2019
The Advocacy Team worked with an NGO coalition which included Global Witness and Transparency International UK to deliver a quick three-week campaign calling for anti-corruption legislation to show the real owners of UK properties to be included in the Conservative Party’s first Queens’ Speech. Through a combination of targeted advocacy letters, parliamentary engagement, outreach to special advisers, local and national media pieces we delivered; the Queens’ Speech included the new Registration of Overseas Entities Bill.

We supported the launch of, Resolution2020, a global climate action project which saw thousands of people come together and pledge to take action to protect the planet. At the invitation of the Chilean Presidency, we launched Resolution2020 at a COP-25 high level climate panel event in Madrid.
